the future is now past my bedtime
Moblog Numero Uno. It does not seem fair to call this blog mobile.... since I am sitting directly in front of the computer terminal. Nevertheless, I was able to post this without touching the keyboard or any other part of the computing machine. Maybe this time next year we will just put on our SprintPCS MoBlog series 2800 eye-Googles and short mail our minds into cyberspace. Lovely.

aggregated morning space time continuum
I awoke as I normally do by hitting the alarm clock and opening my eye lids.
- I got up.
- Took a shower. [That's right. I took it.]
- Brushed my teeth.
- Shaved my chest. [Ooo la la!]
- Put clothes on, my body.
- Socks...boots...watch.
- Phone
Now, here is why I am confused. I was in no hurry. I felt the morning was going rather pleasantly. Clue#1: It was quietly raining outside. I felt good. Andrea called as I was putting wallet in pocket. I told her I was still a little sleepy and that I was about to walk out the door. Clue #2: She went, "Ohhh, O.K." Nothing dramatic or anything, just a tinge more empathy than what would seem normal. Said I'd call back when I get to work. "Love You, Bye." Got my keys, headed towards the door. As I was walking out of the house, I noticed a woman from work had called my phone already that morning. Clue#3: Missed Call. I thought that is strange. Still, at this point I had not put it together. I get in my truck, pull away from the driveway. Clue#4: Traffic is scarce. I called Deniece from work to hear what she was calling me for.
B: "Hey Deniece. It's Bryan"
D: Boooyy Where are you?
B: "I am driving to work. Why?"
D: You usually call if you are going to be even five minutes late, and I didn't hear from you.
B: "What the..."
The conversation did continue briefly but is no longer neccessary. Until that moment, I had been having an average 'everyday' morning. Now, without warning or instruction, I have been thrust exactly one hour into the future. One hour. Exactly.
My only excuse is that I have none.........or that I "fell back" 38 days early.

Tribute to my old best friend
My old buddy "Bill" just happened by the office. Turns out he is doing all-right for himself.
I am happy for Bill. He stood up for me once when a group of teenagers on their bikes tried to scare me. He proved his good friendship that day as he scooped me up in his big arms and carried me for a 15 yd safety into the driveway. I might have been emotionally damaged if not for Bill that day.
Thanks good buddy. I owe you one.
p.s. Thanks for signed mini helmet magnet. It looks great on my 'refrigerator'. ;)

Baby, when I look into your eyes, I see etymology
An answer will be lowered.
Deirdo (dîr-doe) n : mental adroitness, Nimble with the hands or body; dexterous, wick-quittedness
Deirdo has roots in 15th century old english savant vernacular. Déir'-doe was originally used to describe someone of clever wit; and/or having practical ingenuity and skill.
Sir Michael IX made popular this linguistic morsel in a speech delivered to parliament 1637.
"Deirdo are those, lawmakers of old.
From hence the morrow, they urge us bold.
They saw thou next,
what shalt not come.
By the mighty sword,
and the battle drum.
Tis' to my family, I owe my wife,
Tis' to my country, I owe my life."
The broken syntax and casual enunciation of modern conversational English has led to its current colloquial pronunciation as shown above.
Speakish: Of, relating to, or being...... speak.
Peace punch captain Crunch. Later.
